The "People's Choice" Overall Winner is Monique

Monique is the winner with 911 total votes. It was close, Casey kept the pressure on but Monique continue to add votes from all over the area and county a little bit at a time all the way up to the end. She must of been calling all her family and friends. Perhaps one of the candidates for office this year should hire her to get out the vote. Congratulations Monique. She wins the $100 prize for "Peoples Choice" winner.
The final vote totals are as follows:
Monique 911
Casey 828
Asia 200
Ari 105
Eli 84
Kaitlyn 71
Fabian 20
We want to thank all of you who participated in the voting each week.

Time out!
Ok I (Bill) take responsibility for the voting frenzy. I have tried to keep things fair and workable but have really just muffed it up. I didn't provide enough guidelines and rules or an adequate explanation and so I am publicly apologizing to the models and their family and friends.
When we first started you were asked to vote by email. That had it's problems because people were putting multiple names on an email or saying that they were voting for grandma because she didn't have email. Plus it took me forever to count and keep track of because I had to open each email up to see who it was from and who they were voting for. Frankly I was too busy photographing the models, processing their images and making their slide shows to keep track that way so I changed the voting to the comments section of the blog. People then emailed me concerned because they couldn't vote because they were not Gmail registered. So I changed the settings to allow anyone to vote. Once again we had people placing multiple votes on a comment so I changed things again to one vote per comment. Now I see comments coming in in spurts within just a couple of minutes and I wonder just how so many people can be voting all at the same time. So... I goofed and I need to do something to make it right. Not everyone will be happy with me but this is it.
Week 4 is a TIE between Monique and Casey. You both are apparently putting in a great deal of effort getting all of your families and friends to vote for you. Today the numbers are going up like mad. You each will get the award for the week and you both will be awarded 200 votes for the week.
Now for week five. I don't want to discourage anyone and I do appreciate every one's interest but we have to change things for week five. I may just be making things worse and you may be mad at me but I really just want things to be perceived as fair. So starting now all votes must be placed on my email at billvancuran@gmail.com. Only one vote per email and the vote must be made by the person voting. They must leave their full name on the email. I am sorry if grandma does have email but if she doesn't she obviously can't vote.
I hope this doesn't dampen your spirits regarding the voting. There is still a $25 gift card to give out for week 5 (Design) plus the personalized T-shirt and the bragging rights. All seven models still have a chance to be a weekly people's choice winner. Plus... the overall people's choice winner is still up for grabs. That is the model with the most total votes. That's the $100 prize. BTW I will post current totals soon and I will give credit for votes received up to this moment.
Thanks you for your patience with me. We had tried to do somethings different this year with the modeling experience to make it better and more interesting but I have certainly have learned some lessons regarding things that don't work so well.
The professional choice voting will be taking place toward the end of this week and the winner of that competition will be announced early next week. We do want to say that all the models have been great to work with. Their family and friends have a right to be proud of them. God Bless Melanie and Bill VanCuran

Modeling Experience '09 Week Three People's Choice Winner: Casey

For the second week in a row Casey pulled out all stops and won the voting for the people's choice. Monique was a close second. It's time to begin voting for the weeks four favorite. Week four is the Low...cations session which is an outside around town session using alleys, fire escapes, and overpasses. We had a lot of fun . Here is a picture of the group we did Saturday. Quite a Motley crew! They all did great. The slide shows will be posted by tomorrow.

Week Two People's Choice Winner is..... Casey

Again it was close thru half the week but Casey and Monique put on a blistering finish with Casey coming out the winner. Casey had 337 votes with her junior friends really helping her, Monique had 280 votes with a number of her junior friends helping, Eli had 43, Ari had 38, and Kaitlyn had 7. Casey gets a $25 Applebees gift card and a bragging rights Modeling Experience '09 T-shirt. Congratulations Casey.
This weeks voting will be refined somewhat with only one vote counted for each post on the comments. So if an office or a family wants to vote for their favorite model each individual will need to post the vote.
Thanks for participating and keep on posting. Every week is new for the People's choice and there will also be an overall peoples choice winner. Totals so far are listed below:
Monique 410, Casey 350, Ari 124, Eli 83, Asia 56, Fabian 34, Kaitlyn 25
Melanie and Bill VanCuran
Week Three is Completed and It's Time to Vote

The Modeling Experience '09 has made it thru three weeks. This last week was "Standing Sitting, Leaning and Lying". It gets a little harder as the skills required are more refined and subtle. Everyone did great and now it's time to vote. The voting is getting more refined too as we go along. This week we will only be counting one vote per one posted comment. So if a whole family wants to vote for their favorite model, they need to each vote individually. Thanks for participating. Melanie and Bill VanCuran
This coming week is Low...cations. We will be doing alleyways, fire escapes and the like. It's time for our models to show some high class grunge.
